Aluminum foil can be divided by different standards. By thickness there are thick foil, single zero foil and double zero foil.

1. Thick foil: a foil having a thickness of 0.1 to 0.2 mm.

2. Single zero foil: a foil having a thickness of 0.1 mm and less than 0.1 mm/.

3. Double zero foil: The so-called double zero foil is a foil with two zeros after the decimal point in the thickness of mm, usually aluminum foil with a thickness less than 0.0075mm.

When expressed in English, the thick foil is called “heavy gauge foil”, the single zero foil “medium gauge foil”, and the double zero foil “light gauge foil”. In foreign countries, an aluminium foil with a thickness of less than 40 ltm is sometimes referred to as a light gauge foil, and more than 40 btm is collectively referred to as a heavy gauge foil.

The aluminum foil can also be divided into a rolled aluminum foil and a sheet aluminum foil according to the shape. Most of the aluminum foil deep-processing wool is supplied in rolls, and only a few hand-made industrial packaging uses sheet-like aluminum foil.

By hardness the foil can be divided into hard foil, semi-hard foil and soft foil.

1 Hard foil: Aluminum foil that has not been softened (annealed) after rolling, and has no residue on the surface without degreasing. Therefore, the hard foil must be degreased before printing, lamination, coating, and can be used directly if it is used for forming.

2 semi-hard foil: aluminum foil hardness (or strength) between the hard foil and the soft foil, usually used for forming.

3 soft foil: aluminum foil which is softened after being fully annealed after rolling, the material is soft and there is no residual oil on the surface. At present, most applications, such as packaging, composites, electrical materials, etc., use soft foil.

The price of aluminium foil is also known as harga aluminium foil, which is generally less than $3000 per metric meters, and $2800 is a more suitable price most of the time.
