China 1050 aluminum coil contains 99.5% aluminium and 0.5% other metals. Known as a kind of pure aluminium in China, 1050 coil is high in formability, corrosion resistance, heat conductivity and electric conductivity. Owing to high aluminium content, its hardness is weak. But it’s a good choice for materials requiring good deep drawing, stretching and oxidization resisting effects, for it has the best integrated properties and the the highest cost efficiency. The chemical composition of the coil is similar to those for 1060 coil, so in China it’s usually replaced by 1060 aluminum coil in practical application. However, for export business, 1050 alu coil is very popular.

As an industrial pure aluminum, 1050 aluminum coil cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, and its strength can be improved by cold deformation. The only form of heat treatment is annealing. The starting temperature of recrystallization is related to the impurity content and the degree of deformation, generally around 200°C. Ordinary tempers for 1050 contains O, H12, H14, H14, H19, H22, H24, H26 and H28. The elongation is 3%, the tensile strength 105-145, the yield strength 75 and the hardness HB33.
China 1050 aluminum coil can be used for aluminum lamps, lighting appliances, reflectors, decorative curtain wall ceiling panels, chemical instruments, aluminum heat sinks, automobile signs, pipe insulation, etc. Although domestic demand for 1050 aluminium coil is small, the production scale has not shrunk in China, for overseas purchasers prefer 1050 in practical applications. As a result, most China 1050 aluminium coils and sheets are exported to the global market, and the price remains low with large demand.
