The aluminium circle 1060 is among the most popular one in cookware aluminum products. 1060 alloy is a representative of 1000 series in not only aluminum wafers but also other aluminum products. It contains 99.6% aluminium and 0.4% other metals, featured by low hardness and density. In most cases it can be replaced by 1050, for the two share similar mechanical and chemical properties.

It’s applied to cookware for its light weight, good heat conductivity and excellent corrosion resistance. 1060 aluminium circle has a density which is only one third of that of iron. This makes aluminum cookware extremely light. Most people would choose lighter cookware if all other conditions are the same. In addition, aluminum has a heat conductivity even stronger than copper. It makes the heat conducted evenly to the food. The corrosion resistance of aluminium is excellent, for its rust is a firm thin layer rather than powder like that of iron. In this way the layer functions as a protective clothing of the cookware. Therefore, people are advised not to remove the “rust” layer of cookware, or else it will get thinner and thinner. Of course, with technological development most cookware manufacturers have their cookware anodized by the surface. This greatly improves the surface quality and service life of aluminium cookware.
Haomei 1060 aluminium circle is 0.8mm to 6.0mm thick and up to 1250mm round. The price for those with diameters over 700mm is higher. We provide deep drawing, spinning, hot rolling, cold rolling, mill finish, anodized and color coated aluminum circle for cookware.
